The Friday, March 24th, 2017 issue of The New York Times cited Ashley’s performance in the review of This is Not a Theatre Company’s Pool Play, saying, “I found myself wishing for more use of watercraft, more dances that tap the ensemble and — after Ashley Wren Collins’s gentle rendition of the R.E.M. song ‘Nightswimming’ — more singing, too.”
